¡Hola! TV is Spanish entertainment television network owned by Atresmedia. The channel broadcasts entertainment about celebrities and lifestyle programmings.

History[]

In its origin the channel signed a distribution agreement with the satellite television company by subscription DirecTV, so that in its launch the signal was limited to the countries with coverage by that television system: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador , Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and some of the states of the Caribbean Sea. In May 2014, the signal was extended to the United States. In August, the channel was launched in Mexico in conjunction with Televisa through of Cablemás, subsequently expanded to other restricted television systems in the country.

Until September 2015, the channel had approximately 10 million subscribers in the region, in addition to being among the 10 most-watched variety channels on the continent, according to the Business Bureau report (DTVRatings-2014/BB- Business Bureau SA, TechEdge A/S, DIRECTV Latin America).

The channel has two signals: one directed to the public of the United States and the other to Latin America, both are coordinated from Miami, unlike other television channels in the region there is no division of schedules according to the time zones of the different areas of the continent.
