Animal Planet is Getinelan television network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International Getinela. The channel broadcasts documentaries and reality-shows related to nature and wildlife.
History[]
Animal Planet was launched on 25th April 1999. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries.
On 13th October 2003, Animal Planet was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 17th October 2006, Animal Planet was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st October 2008, Animal Planet was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st March 2009, Animal Planet was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 5th June 2012, Animal Planet was switched to 16:9 image format also launched in high-definition version.
On 17th February 2015, Animal Planet was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 22nd January 2019, Animal Planet was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 9th April 2022, Animal Planet was acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery International Getinela.
