Antena 3 Internacional

Antena 3 Internacional is Spanish international television network owned by Atresmedia. The channel broadcasts Atresmedia's channels programmings.

History

On September 30, 1996, Antena 3 internacional was inaugurated in Mexico in collaboration with MVS. It became, thus, the first Spanish private channel to go out into the world.

In September 2016, Antena 3 Internacional celebrates its 20th anniversary by broadcasting its signal and 18 million subscriber homes worldwide with more than 72 million viewers. Currently, it reaches some 30 countries on four continents.

Antena 3 Internacional broadcasts the programs produced by Antena 3, La Sexta in Spain and other channels of Atresmedia. In this way, it offers current information both nationally and internationally through its news programs, such as Antena 3 Noticias, Espejo Público, Salvados or Equipo de Investigación. The channel combines this programming with entertainment programs, such as La Ruleta de la Suerte, Tu Cara Me Suena or El Hormiguero; and with series like Velvet or Here there is no one who lives.

On the occasion of the celebration of its 20th anniversary, Antena 3 Internacional made a special program for which it had the collaboration of its viewers. Through their website, they were able to vote for their 20 favorite programs of all times, thus giving place to The program of your life. The winner of this ranking was the series Aquí no Hay quien Viva. Due to its success, Antena 3 Internacional began broadcasting it again from the beginning in pop-up format, offering its viewers additional information about the series and its actors.

In addition, chef Karlos Arguiñano dedicated four programs to the elaboration of international meals to celebrate the 20th anniversary. On Friday, October 21, he prepared some Venezuelan arepas, the dish chosen by the viewers of Antena 3 Internacional on its website.

Also Roberto Brasero, presenter of Tu Tiempo, asked viewers to send their photographs of the sky and weather changes from all over the world.
