BBC World News is British television network owned by British Broadcasting Corporation. The channel broadcasts news (worldwide and sports), weather and business programmings.
History
BBC World News was launched on 16th January 1995 as BBC World replaced BBC World Service Television. Launch of the broadcast for news programmings.
On 9th November 1997, BBC World was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of British Broadcasting Corporation's rebranding effort.
On 25th October 1999, BBC World was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 8th December 2003, BBC World was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 1st January 2007, BBC World was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 21st April 2008, BBC World is renamed as BBC World News.
On 13th January 2009, BBC World News switched to 16:9 image format.
On 5th August 2013, BBC World News stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 15th July 2019, BBC World News was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 25th April 2022, BBC World News was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
