CNBC Europe is British television network owned by NBCUniversal International Networks United Kingdom. The channel broadcasts business news and economics.
History[]
CNBC Europe was launched on 11th March 1996 as CNBC Worldwide. Launch of the broadcast for business news.
On 12th May 1996, CNBC Worldwide is renamed as CNBC Europe.
On 1st February 1998, CNBC Europe was merged with EBN.
On 1st September 2004, CNBC Europe was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 30th December 2005, CNBC Europe was fullly acquired by NBC Universal.
On 29th September 2008, CNBC Europe was rebranded with the new idents were changed, the logo just CNBC logo.
On 31st March 2014, CNBC Europe switched to full 16:9 image format.
On 1st February 2019, CNBC Europe was launched in high-definition version.
On 13th December 2025, CNBC Europe was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
