CTV is a commercial Cogerian television network owned by Cogeria Media Network. The channel broadcasts news, sports, series, entertainment, documentaries, movies, children's programs and game shows.
History[]
CTV was launched on the 8th of May 1958, initially in Diamond City only. Their first program was CTV Extravaganza, a special to celebrate the launch of the channel.
Over the next 7 years, CTV began expanding nationally, firstly to the South Coast province in 1959, then to Central Cogeria in 1960, Emerald Bay province and Northeast Cogeria in 1962, the West of Cogeria in 1963, North-Central Cogeria in 1964, and finally Nordweste Province in 1965.
CTV began to become a strong force in Cogerian television around 1983, becoming the number one rated station in Cogeria. To celebrate they changed their logo to the one used today, and introduced a new ident package, which was redone in 2005 to the current idents presented today.
