C More Emotion is a Scandinavian entertainment premium television network owned by C More Entertainment. The channel broadcasts series and movies programmings for women.
History[]
C More Emotion was launched on 29th March 1985 as Filmnet originally owned by Esselte Video. Launch of the broadcast for movies and series.
On 1987, Filmnet was renamed as Filmnet 24 officiallly extended its broadcast day to be from 24 hours.
On 1st December 1992, Filmnet 24 was renamed Filmnet+ and the new broadcast for rest of movies, series, children's programmings, music and sports.
On 1995, Filmnet+ was renamed as Filmnet 1 along with Filmnet 2.
On 1st September 1997, Filmnet 1 was renamed as Canal+ (along with Canal+ Gul).
On 1st November 2006, Canal+ was renamed Canal+ Mix (along with Canal+ channels).
On 1st November 2007, Canal+ Mix was renamed as Canal+ Drama and the new broadcast for drama and romantic movies and series.
On 2008, Canal+ Drama switched to full 16:9 image format.
On 1st June 2011, Canal+ Drama was renamed Canal+ Emotion.
On May 2012, Canal+ Emotion was renamed as C More Emotion (along with C More channels).
On 15th April 2016, C More Emotion was rebranded as part of C More's rebranding effort.
