Canal+ is a defunct Anierican television network owned by Thematic Media Group Anierica. This channel broadcast movies and series for all genres.
History[]
Canal+ was launched on April 1, 1985, under the name Filmnet, broadcasting European and Euphorian movies. At this time, Filmnet was encrypted by using VideoCrypt.
On September 1, 1997, Filmnet was rebranded as Canal+, unencrypted for the last time.
Canal+ ceased broadcasting on January 1, 2001.
