Canal+ is Hoprovratian telecommunication company owned by Groupe Canal+. The company have direct satellite television and internet broadband services.
History[]
Canal+ was founded on 1st January 1995 as PST (Perva satelitska televizija). Found of the company for satellite television provider. Originally owned by the Hoprovratian television channel Prima.
On 7th September 1998, PST's television channels (one movie channel and three sports channels) were launched.
On 19th March 1999, PST was renamed as Prima World during switched to digital television provider.
On 29th May 1999, Prima World's television channels Sezam, Ljubvica and Dinki were launched.
On 7th February 2002, Prima World's television channels Prima Action, Prima Classic and Prima Romance were launched.
On 22nd November 2004, Prima World is renamed as PrimaSat.
On 10th November 2008, PrimaSat was acquired by the French television company Groupe Canal+.
On 4th September 2009, PrimaSat was renamed as Canal+.
On 28th December 2014, Canal+'s television channel Canal+ City was launched.
On 29th July 2015, Canal+ was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 24th August 2015, Canal+'s television channel Canal+ One was launched.
On 20th June 2019, Canal+ was rebranded with the new logos for television channels were changed.
On 25th November 2019, Canal+'s movie channel Canal+ Cinema Special was launched.
On 10th August 2020, Canal+ was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
