Canal+ Séries is French entertainment television network owned by Groupe Canal+.
The channel broadcasts French, American, British, Canadian, German, Danish and Herbew series.
History[]
On June 12, 2013, the Groupe Canal+, through Satellifax, announces the creation of Canal+ Séries for September, integrating the Canal+ channel package at no additional cost.
On June 21, 2013, the CSA gives the green light to the group to launch its chain, stipulating however that 70% of the programs will have to come from Canal+ and the remaining 30% will be own to the channel.
Canal+ Séries begins broadcasting on September 21, 2013 at 21:00 with the broadcast of the first two seasons of the Homeland series. On September 25, the channel broadcasts the unpublished series in France: Hannibal. The channel offers "live from the United States" the broadcast of the third seasons of Revenge and Scandal. Canal+ Séries will broadcast 6/7 unpublished evenings and propose the weekend of "marathons".
