Cartoonito is Dekanian television network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International Dekania. The channel broadcasts animated programmings for children at 2 to 7 years.
History
Cartoonito was launched on 1st June 2006 as Boomerang. Launch of the broadcast for cartoons.
On 1st June 2008, Boomerang was the new broadcast format for animated series from Imira Entertainment and Animacna studija NKK (such as Mjaulek and Žutki dom) and rest of Turner Entertainment/Warner Bros. Animation/Hanna-Barbera programmings.
On 1st April 2012, Boomerang was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed and switched to 16:9 image format.
On 24th December 2014, Boomerang stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 1st February 2015, Boomerang was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 30th September 2018, Boomerang was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 9th April 2022, Boomerang was acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery International Dekania.
On 17th June 2023, Boomerang was renamed as Cartoonito.
