Cartoonito is Romanian television network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International Romania. The channel broadcasts animated series programmings for children at 2 to 7 years.
History[]
Cartoonito was launched on 7th October 2009 as Boomerang. Launch of the broadcast for cartoons.
On 1st September 2011, Boomerang's programming block Cartoonito was launched.
On 28th March 2012, Boomerang was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 31st December 2013, Boomerang was removed its programming block Cartoonito.
On 2nd February 2015, Boomerang was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 4th April 2018, Boomerang was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 9th April 2022, Boomerang was acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery International Romania.
On 18th March 2023, Boomerang was renamed as Cartoonito.
