Ciné+ Club is French television network owned by MultiThématiques. The channel broadcasts independent movies.

History[]

Ciné+ Club was launched on 15th September 2002 as CinéCinéma Auteur. Launch of the broadcast for movies about actors.

On 21st March 2007, CinéCinéma Auteur was merged with TPS Cinéculte is renamed as CinéCinéma Culte following Canalsat/TPS merger.

On 1st October 2008, CinéCinéma Culte is renamed as CinéCinéma Club along with CinéCinéma's channels.

On 17th May 2011, CinéCinéma Club is renamed as Ciné+ Club as part of MultiThématiques' rebranding effort.

On 2012, Ciné+ Club stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
