Cinéfirst is French former movie television network owned by AB Groupe. The channel broadcasts movies related to comedy, thriller, animation.
History[]
On 1st January 2008, to strengthen the movie offering of Bis TV satellite package, AB Groupe decided to create Cinépop for the family and Cinéfirst. This one took the same dressing and the same thematic positioning as the deceased Cinébox.
Nevertheless, the channel stopped on different operators on August 31st with the exception of a few who broadcast the channel until September 30th, the channel having been suppressed because AB Groupe needed room on its transponders to broadcast its new sports channels, Golf Channel and Lucky Jack.tv on its bouquet.
