Cinema One is a Philippine television network owned by ABS-CBN.

History[]

Cinema One was launched on 1992 as Classic Twenty One. Launch of the channel for foreign movies.

On 21st June 1994, Classic Twenty One the new broadcast format for Philippine movies and informational related to business and current affairs, and the new name called Sky1.

On 29th June 1998, Sky1 the new broadcast format for Philippine movies, and the new name called Pinoy Blockbuster Channel. the informational related to business and current affairs being moved to Sarimanok News Network.

On 4th September 1999, Pinoy Blockbuster Channel is renamed as Cinema One.

On 2004, Cinema One was extended in North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia-Pacific by Cinema One Global.

On 2006, Cinema One was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 2009, Cinema One was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 16th April 2013, Cinema One was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
