Cinemax 2 is Romanian television network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International Romania. The channel broadcasts European and independent movies from 50's to present.
History[]
Cinemax 2 was launched on 1st November 2005. Launch of the broadcast for 24-hour timeshift service.
On 1st March 2010, Cinemax 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed also switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st September 2014, Cinemax 2 was launched on high-definition version.
On 1st September 2016, Cinemax 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed also the new broadcast format for different movies.
On 5th September 2019, Cinemax 2 was removed its HD screen-bug.
On 9th April 2022, Cinemax 2 was acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery International Romania.
