Comedy Central Family is Hungarian television network owned by ViacomCBS Networks International Hungary. The channel broadcasts series and movies for family audiences.
History[]
Comedy Central Family was launched on 27th June 1997 as Z+. Launch of the broadcast for music videos.
On 4th June 2001, Z+ is renamed as Viva+ and acquired by Viva Media.
On 27th January 2003, Viva+ is renamed as Viva.
On 24th June 2004, Viva was acquired by MTV Networks International Hungary.
On 22nd June 2009, Viva was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 2nd April 2012, Viva was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed. the channel switched to full 16:9 image format.
On 1st April 2016, Viva was rebranded with the new idents under the name "#vivatv".
On 3rd October 2017, Viva is renamed as Comedy Central Family and the new broadcast format for series and movies.
On 4th June 2019, Comedy Central Family was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
