Cuisine+ is French former lifestyle television network owned by MultiThématiques.
The channel broadcasts both specials and regular episodic programs about food and cooking.
History[]
On April 14, 2001, Version 1 the production company RF2K, created by Dominique Farrugia and Olivier Granier decided to launch a channel dedicated to the kitchen, called Cuisine.TV.
In the first half of 2004, according to the company's press kit, the channel is the leading gastronomic channel in the French audiovisual landscape with 6.6 million subscribers and an audience of 2 million people per week.
In 2005, she was selected to broadcast on pay-TV channel shared with Comédie in the evening (Comédie from 20:30 to 8:30 and then Cuisine.TV the rest of the time) but his authorization is canceled a few months later.
On December 20, 2007, the channel launched the new version of its website offering more than 2,000 videos.
In November 2011, the Groupe Canal+ acquired Cuisine.TV and Télé Maison, and decided to rename Cuisine.TV to Cuisine+ and Télé Maison en Maison+ as of April 5, 2012, to better mark their accessions to the Groupe Canal+. The name change was accompanied by a new dressing and a passage in 16:9.
Since September 2012, Maison+'s programming has been modeled on that of Cuisine+.
The Groupe Canal+ announced the closure of the channel planned for March 2015, as well as Cuisine+. Sport+ will also be part of the suppressed channels on March 27, 2015, information confirmed on March 24 by the Groupe Canal+. Jimmy, another channel of the group to close, will cease broadcasting in June 2015.
It stops broadcasting on June 26, 2015, at 23:44, on a white background accompanied by the last logotype of the channel.
