DekSport 2 is Dekanian television network owned by Grupa Echo K6. The channel broadcasts sports events related to motorsports, basketball, football, tennis, golf, rugby, kick-boxing, cyclism, hockey and American football.
History[]
First era (1990-1995)[]
DekSport 2 was launched on 18th November 1990. Launch of the broadcast for all sports events and used to broadcast in time-sharing with TV1000 from Sweden.
On 30th March 1995, DekSport 2 was closed along with TV1000 from Sweden.
Last era (1998-2003)[]
On 1st June 1998, DekSport 2 was relaunched as part of Metrovision's Multikanal and the relaunch of the broadcast for sports events related to motorsports, basketball, football, tennis, golf, rugby, kick-boxing, cyclism, hockey and American football.
On 28th June 2002, DekSport 2 switched to 16:9 image format.
On 6th June 2003, DekSport 2 was reclosed along with DekSport's channels.
