Digi Sport 2 is Romanian television network owned by RCS & RDS. The channel broadcasts sports events related to football, basketball, motorsports, tennis and rugby.
History[]
Digi Sport 2 was launched on 23rd July 2009 as Digi Sport Plus. Launch of the broadcast for sports events.
On 11th June 2011, Digi Sport Plus is renamed Digi Sport 2.
On 8th March 2012, Digi Sport 2 was launched in high-definition version.
On 11th August 2012, Digi Sport 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st October 2015, Digi Sport 2's sister channel Digi Sport 4 was launched.
On 1st October 2018, Digi Sport 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 5th August 2022, Digi Sport 2 was closed in Hungary.
