Discovery is Korfish television network owned by KUK Grubu. The channel broadcasts documentaries and reality-shows related to history, nature, science, motorsports and civilisation.
History[]
Discovery was launched on 9th December 1996 as Discovery Channel. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries.
On 22nd December 2000, Discovery Channel was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 1st June 2002, Discovery Channel was added on Digimax's DigiClub package.
On 1st April 2006, Discovery Channel was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 1st July 2009, Discovery Channel was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st January 2012, Discovery Channel was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st June 2014, Discovery Channel was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 25th January 2016, Discovery Channel was launched in high-definition version.
On 16th September 2019, Discovery Channel was renamed as Discovery.
On 9th April 2022, Discovery was acquired by KUK Grubu.
