Discovery Life is Dekanian television network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International Dekania. The channel broadcasts documentaries, lifestyle and entertainment programmings.
History[]
Discovery Life was launched on 1st June 2000 as Discovery Civilisation. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries related to history and civilisations.
On 17th June 2003, Discovery Civilisation was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed along with Discovery Science.
On 1st June 2008, Discovery Civilisation is renamed as Discovery World.
On 1st January 2010, Discovery World was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of Discovery Networks Dekania's rebranding effort.
On 1st February 2015, Discovery World is renamed as Discovery Life and the new broadcast format for documentaries, lifestyle and entertainment, switched to a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 19th October 2019, Discovery Life was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 9th April 2022, Discovery Life was acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery International Dekania.
