Discovery Turbo Xtra is Polish documentary television network owned by Discovery Networks Poland. The channel broadcasts nonfiction programming, focusing on cars, and also sports (particularly motorsports), leisure, and other topics targeted at men ages 18 to 54.
About Us[]
In Poland the channel started as Discovery Civilisation, also called Discovery Civilisation Channel, in the Poland in 1999 and later followed by other European countries. Discovery Civilisation focused on history-related programs. On April 25, 2008, the channel changed its name into Discovery World and extended its program lineup to also include programs about culture, crime and "mysterious phenomena".
The channel will be interesting to fans of the Discovery Channel, keen on repairing and tuning cars and all devices that have a motor. Also on the channel you will see content from Eurosport: highway-ring racing and motocross, European Rally Championship, extreme sport. Funny videos offer TV magazines "WATTS" and "Soldiers of Failure" In the DTX broadcast network there will also be programs on sports, nutrition, real estate, "Vintage Car Auction", "Money Issue".
