Discovery World is Suskriatic television network owned by Discovery Networks Suskria. The channel broadcasts documentaries related to history, nature, travel and civilisations.
History[]
Discovery World was launched on 1st June 1999 as Discovery Civilisation. Launch of the broadcast for documentaries.
On 1st April 2003, Discovery Civilisation was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 18th April 2008, Discovery Civilisation was renamed as Discovery World.
On 1st November 2009, Discovery World was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On mid-2012, Discovery World was removed from Altenian analogue cable providers.
On 1st June 2016, Discovery World was replaced by Discovery Turbo Xtra from Sigma Telekom.
On 1st January 2021, Discovery World was closed by reason: programmings moved to Travel Channel.
