Disney Channel is Romanian television network owned by Disney Media Networks Romania . The channel broadcasts animated and live-action series programmings for children at 6 to 17 years.
History [ ] Disney Channel was launched on 1st April 1999 as Fox Kids . Launch of the broadcast for cartoons and series for kids.
On 18th June 2003, Fox Kids was organized the football club Fox Kids Cup .
On 1st January 2005, Fox Kids was renamed as Jetix .
On 19th September 2009, Jetix was renamed as Disney Channel .
On 1st May 2011, Disney Channel was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 21st July 2014, Disney Channel was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 5th August 2015, Disney Channel was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st April 2017, Disney Channel was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 20th March 2019, Disney Channel was acquired by Disney Media Networks Romania .
On 1st September 2022, Disney Channel was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
