Disney XD is Yucoscret children's television network owned by Disney Media Networks Yucoscretia. The channel broadcasts animated and live-action series for children at 7 to 16 years.
History[]
Disney XD was launched on 1st June 1998 as Fox Kids originally owned by News Corporation. Launch of the broadcast for animated and live-action series for children.
On 1st June 2002, Fox Kids was acquired by the new company called Disney Channels Worldwide Yucoscretia.
On 20th April 2004, Fox Kids' children's action block called Jetix was introduced.
On 1st January 2005, Fox Kids is renamed as Jetix along with Jetix Play.
On 25th September 2009, Jetix is renamed as Disney XD as part of the channel's global rebrand.
On 15th August 2011, Disney XD was switched to 16:9 image format and the new programmings.
On 1st June 2014, Disney XD stopped the 4:3 image format and launched in high-definition simulcast.
On 1st March 2016, Disney XD was rebranded and the new idents were introduced.
