EDT 2 is Elend television network owned by Ellendiki Dimosia Radiofonia Tileorasi. The channel broadcasts news, enterainment, culture, movies, series and sports programmings.

EDT 2 was launched on 28th February 1966 as EIT Kanali 10. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment and documentaries.
On 19th November 1970, EIT Kanali 10 was renamed as Deftero Kanali.
On 1st December 1975, Deftero Kanali was renamed as EDT 2 also broadcasted in color.
On 19th July 1979, EDT 2 was fully broadcasted in color.
On 16th November 1982, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 24th August 1987, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 11th August 1990, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 1st September 1993, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st May 1996, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 11th September 2000, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 6th March 2004, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 23rd March 2008, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed also switched to 16:9 image format.
On 19th March 2011, EDT 2 was switched to full 16:9 image format.
On 25th June 2015, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 14th September 2020, EDT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
