EDT News is Elend television network owned by Ellendiki Dimosia Radiofonia Tileorasi. The channel broadcasts nationwide/worldwide news, sports news, weather, business and health programmings.
History[]
EDT News was launched on 30th June 1998 as EDT 24. Launch of the broadcast for news.
On 13th December 2003, EDT 24 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 23rd March 2008, EDT 24 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 24th March 2012, EDT 24 was renamed as EDT Info 24 also switched to full 16:9 image format.
On 25th June 2015, EDT Info 24 was renamed as EDT News.
On 19th January 2017, EDT News was launched in high-definition version.
On 14th September 2020, EDT News was rebranded with new logo and idents were changed.
