ETV Art is Dekanian television network owned by Egmont Dekanija. The channel broadcasts highbrow arts, including theatrical performances, movies, documentaries and music (such as opera performances and classical and jazz sessions).
History[]
ETV Art was launched on 1st June 1996 as iMax. Launch of the broadcast for series, movies, documentaries and music.
On 1st September 1999, iMax was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 17th July 2004, iMax was rebranded along with Telemax, Spacemax and others.
On 20th February 2006, iMax is renamed iTLX and was commonly alluded to in the network's former idents.
On 1st April 2007, iTLX was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 20th March 2009, iTLX was rebranded with the new logo and idents was changed.
On 5th April 2010, iTLX was switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st June 2012, iTLX was stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 20th November 2015, iTLX was renamed again as iMax along with channels.
On 1st January 2017, iMax was renamed as ETV Art and the new broadcast format for highbrow arts.
