Favorit is Romanian television network owned by Centrul Național Media. The channel broadcasts music videos and entertainment related to Romanian traditional and folk music.
History[]
Favorit was launched on 15th December 2004. Launch of the broadcast for Romanian traditional music.
On 4th February 2009, Favorit was forbidden its astrology show.
On 29th September 2010, Favorit was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 1st March 2015, Favorit was switched to 16:9 image format used in music videos.
On 29th April 2019, Favorit was broadcasted 16:9 experimental image format.
On 24th April 2021, Favorit was rebranded with the new idents were changed also fully switched to 16:9 image format.
