Festival is Dekanian television network owned by Nacionalna Dekanska Radiodifuzija. The channel broadcasts entertainment, game-shows, telenovelas and series.
History[]
Festival was launched in Novi Gabi on 5th June 1994 as TV2. Launch of the broadcast for movies, documentaries, children's, news and series.
On 1st October 1997, TV2 was rebroadcasts in Novi Gabi on TeleŠest.
On 1st August 1998, TV2 was launched in Zaraberg.
On 15th September 1999, TV2 was rebranded with the new broadcast format for movies, series for all genres and children's programming.
On 25th September 2002, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo have letters inside the squares and circles inside the squares.
On 18th July 2006, TV2 was acquired by Pro-Invest group.
On 23rd October 2007, TV2 the new broadcast format for movies, series related to science-fiction, horror, fantasy and children's programming.
On 28th January 2008, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 15th November 2010, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 15th August 2011, TV2 switched to 16:9 image format.
On 17th November 2013, TV2 was acquired by Nacionalna Dekanska Radiodifuzija.
On 1st February 2014, TV2 stopped the 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and launched in high-defintion version.
On 1st January 2017, TV2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed. the logo looks like Italy's Italia 2.
On 11th June 2021, TV2 was renamed as Festival. the new broadcast format for entertainment, telenovelas and game-shows.
