France 24 is French television network owned by France Médias Monde. The channel broadcasts nationwide and worldwide news, sports news, talk-shows, lifestyle and business programmings.
History[]
France 24 was launched on 6th December 2006. Launch of the broadcast for news.
On April 2007, France 24 was added for English and Arabic languages.
On 9th January 2011, France 24 switched to 16:9 image format. Graphics were amended to fill the width of the screen. On the Arabian version of France 24, the format from 4:3 to 16:9 changed at 06:00.
On 12th December 2013, France 24 was rebranded; However, the symbol concept has remained.
On September 2014, France 24 stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition simulcast.
On 26th September 2017, France 24 was added for Spanish language.
