Fuji Television is Japanese television network owned by Fujisankei Communications Group. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, series, documentaries, lifestyle, sports and anime programmings.

History[]

Fuji Television was launched on 18th November 1957. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, sports.

On 17th January 1960, Fuji Television's transmission power of the main station was increased to 50 kW for video and 12.5 kW for audio.

On 7th September 1964, Fuji Television was broadcasts in color programmings.

On 3rd October 1966, Fuji Television's member station company Fuji News Network was founded.

On 11th February 1967, Fuji Television was broadcasts in full color programmings.

On 2nd April 1967, Mach GoGoGo is on TV anime on Fuji Television.

On 2nd October 1978, Fuji Television was starting the TV audio multiplex broadcasting.

On 1st March 1984, Fuji Television announced the future of satellite broadcasting business.

On 1st April 1986, Fuji Television was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.

On 1st October 1987, Fuji Television was now 24 hours for the first time.

On 1st November 1990, Fuji Television was broadcasts in Hi-Vision test broadcasting.

On 1st September 1995, Fuji Television switched to 16:9 image format.

On 25th April 1998, Fuji Television's channel Fuji Television 721 (now Fuji TV Two) was launched.

On 23rd November 2000, Fuji Television was rebranded and the new idents were changed created by Novocom.

On 1st December 2003, Fuji Television was starting in digital television.

On 15th March 2006, Fuji Television's podcasting Fujipod was launched.

On 1st April 2008, Fuji Television's high-definition channel Fuji Television CSHD (now Fuji TV Next) was launched.

On 5th July 2010, Fuji Television stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format.

On 24th July 2011, Fuji Television was ending the analogue television.

On 31st March 2015, Fuji Television was completed of terrestrial digital broadcasting by BS Safety Net at noon.
