HBO is Romanian television network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery International Romania. The channel broadcasts new and recent movies and series programmings.
History[]
HBO was launched on 1st January 1998. Launch of the broadcast for movies.
On 30th April 2001, HBO was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 17th October 2003, HBO's basic channel AXN was launched.
On 13th April 2007, HBO's sister channel HBO Comedy was launched.
On 1st November 2009, HBO was launched in high-definition version.
On 6th June 2011, HBO's streaming service HBO Go was launched.
On 21st March 2016, HBO was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 1st October 2020, HBO was changed its new screen-bug.
On 9th April 2022, HBO was acquired by Warner Bros. Discovery International Romania.
