Körfiye Ulusal Kanal (shorten as KUK) is Korfish television network owned by KUK Grubu. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, series, movies and sports programmings.
History[]
Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was launched on 19th December 1979. Launch of the broadcast for news, series, movies and sports.
On 22nd August 1982, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was broadcasted the first original series.
On 16th October 1985, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 5th August 1989, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal's second channel KabloKUK was launched.
On 30th November 1990, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 10th February 1993, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 7th March 1995, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal's satellite channel EufoKUK was launched.
On 30th October 1999, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was broadcasted CNN Körf simulcast at early mornings.
On 3rd September 2001, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st November 2006, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal's high-definition channel KUK HDTV was launched.
On 1st March 2007, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 1st September 2008, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was launched in high-definition version.
On 1st July 2013, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was stopped to 4:3 image format.
On 25th August 2014, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st September 2018, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 9th April 2022, Körfiye Ulusal Kanal's owner was purchased its Discovery Networks Korfey channels.
