K6 Ona is Dekanian television network owned by Grupa K6. The channel broadcasts entertainment, reality-shows and lifestyle programmings.
History[]
K6 Ona was launched on 1st March 1985 as Meditel Kanal 11, replaced Teleset Zdorovije and Teleden. Launch of the channel for lifestyle and entertainment programmings.
On 1st March 1990, Meditel Kanal 11 is renamed to Telekanal Život following the channel's 5th anniversary.
On 1st September 1993, Telekanal Život was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st January 1996, Telekanal Život is renamed Kanal+ Violet and was acquired by Grupa Kanal+.
On 25th April 1998, Grupa Kanal+ sold Kanal+ and the channels to CLT-UFA. who combined it with Echo Zarabergi to create Grupa Echo K6. Kanal+ Violet is renamed Life One.
On 23rd March 2001, Life One is renamed to Life 1.
On 1st June 2006, Life 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed
On 15th July 2007, Life 1 switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st March 2011, Life 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st September 2012, Life 1 stopped the 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and launched in high-definition version.
On 13th July 2015, RTL Group-owner Grupa Echo K6 finished a corporate restructuring that spun-off the group into two new companies: Echo Media and Grupa K6.
On 1st November 2015, Life 1 is renamed as K6 Ona as part of K6's thematic rebranding effort.
On 5th March 2018, K6 Ona was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
