Komtel is Dekanian telecommunication company owned by Mediaset. The company have cable television, internet, mobile and fixed telephony services.

History[]

Komtel was founded on 20th March 1990 as Dekanska Mobilna Telefonija. Found of the provide for mobile telephony.

On 20th April 1993, Dekanska Mobilna Telefonija was acquired by the new company Mediaset.

On 25th October 1998, Dekanska Mobilna Telefonija was rebranded and the new logo was changed.

On 28th March 2001, Dekanska Mobilna Telefonija starting fixed telephony services.

On 1st October 2005, Dekanska Mobilna Telefonija is renamed as Komtel (its name is a portmanteau of "Komuna" and "Telekom").

On 29th January 2008, Komtel was rebranded and the new logo was changed.

On 1st April 2012, Komtel was rebranded and the new logo was changed.

On 18th October 2012, Komtel starting cable television services.

On 10th September 2016, Komtel was rebranded and the new logo was changed.
