La 7 is Italian television network owned by Cairo Communication. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, sports, movies, series, lifestyle and talk-shows programmings.
History[]
La 7 was launched on 5th August 1974 as TMC. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment and sports.
On 30th August 1977, TMC was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 13th October 1981, TMC was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 4th August 1985, TMC was acquired by Organizações Globo and was rebranded, the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st January 1987, TMC was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 13th April 1993, Organizações Globo sold TMC to Montedison, the new logo and idents were changed.
On 20th July 1995, TMC was acquired by Cecchi Gori Group, was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 5th August 1999, TMC was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 24th June 2001, TMC is renamed as La 7.
On 17th March 2002, La 7 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 20th September 2004, La 7 was rebranded and the new idents were changed.
On 7th October 2007, La 7 was rebranded and the new idents were changed.
On 1st September 2009, La 7 switched to 16:9 image format.
On 29th September 2010, La 7 stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 28th March 2011, La 7 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 29th January 2013, La 7 was rebranded and the new idents were changed.
On 29th September 2015, La 7 was relaunched in high-definition version.
