MCM is French television network owned by Groupe M6. The channel broadcasts music videos, music awards and series programmings.
History[]
MCM was launched on 1st July 1989. Launch of the broadcast for music videos.
On 1991, MCM was rebranded and the new logo was changed.
On 1995, MCM was rebranded and the new logo was changed and the new logo featuring a blue ball on previous logo.
On 27th April 1996, MCM was added from Canal Satellite Numérique.
On 1999, MCM was rebranded and the new logo and look were changed.
On 3rd April 2001, MCM launches a second channel called MCM 2.
On 28th November 2003, MCM was rebranded and the new names of channels were changed with MCM Pop and MCM Top.
On 2005, MCM was rebranded and the new logo was changed and the blue ball was removed.
On 1st September 2010, MCM was rebranded and the new logo was changed and switched to 16:9 image format.
On 7th January 2013, MCM stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version and the new broadcast format for series and rest for music videos.
On 2nd October 2017, MCM was rebranded and the new logo was changed along with this channels.
On 2nd September 2019, MCM and this channels were acquired by Groupe M6.
