MTV 90s is British television network owned by Paramount International Networks United Kingdom. The channel broadcasts music videos from 90's.
History[]
MTV 90s was launched on 10th September 1998 as M2. Launch of the broadcast for music videos related to rock and hip-hop.
On 7th June 1999, M2 is renamed as MTV 2.
On 1st September 2002, MTV 2 was rebranded and the new idents were changed created by DixonBaxi.
On 22nd July 2007, MTV 2 is renamed as MTV Two along with MTV channels.
On 1st March 2010, MTV Two is renamed as MTV Rocks and the new broadcast format for music videos related to rock music.
On 1st July 2011, MTV Rocks was rebranded and the new logo was changed.
On 6th March 2012, MTV Rocks switched to a full 16:9 image format.
On 1st October 2013, MTV Rocks was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 5th April 2017, MTV Rocks was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 20th July 2020, MTV Rocks was closed in the United Kingdom.
On 5th October 2020, MTV Rocks is renamed as MTV 90s.
On 31st March 2022, MTV 90s will launch in the United Kingdom replacing MTV Base.
