Max5

Max5 is Korfish television network owned by Digimax. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, series, movies, sports and documentaries programmings.

History[]

Max5 was launched on 30th June 1993 as Ekran 5. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, documentaries, series, movies and cartoons.

On 11th July 1997, Ekran 5's radio station Five Radyo was launched.

On 15th September 2000, Ekran 5 was broadcasted the Olympic Games in Sydney.

On 15th September 2004, Ekran 5 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.

On 1st December 2006, Ekran 5 was broadcasted series/movies at primetime and cartoons, entertainment and Korfish movies at daytime.

On 1st June 2009, Ekran 5 was launched in high-definition version.

On 5th March 2011, Ekran 5 was broadcasted the Al Jazeera news.

On 1st December 2015, Ekran 5 was acquired by Digimax.

On 20th January 2017, Ekran 5 was renamed as Max5.

On 1st January 2020, Max5 was closed in standard-definition version.
