Mediaset Platinum is Dekanian television network owned by Mediaset. The channel broadcasts movies, sports and music programmings.
History[]
Mediaset Platinum was launched on 18th November 1996 as Mediaset Supervision. Launch of the broadcast for movies and arts in digital quality.
On 1st November 1997, Mediaset Supervision was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 29th March 2000, Mediaset Supervision was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 11th December 2003, Mediaset Supervision was renamed as Mediaset Platinum.
On 20th September 2005, Mediaset Platinum was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 23rd March 2008, Mediaset Platinum was launched in high-definition version.
On 27th November 2010, Mediaset Platinum was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 21st March 2014, Mediaset Platinum was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st May 2016, Mediaset Platinum was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of Mediaset's rebranding effort.
On 25th November 2018, Mediaset Platinum was launched in ultra-high definition version.
On 24th December 2019, Mediaset Platinum was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
