Mediaset Spotlight 1 is Dekanian television network owned by Mediaset. The channel broadcasts new and recent movies.
History[]
Mediaset Spotlight 1 was launched on 15th July 1991 as Encore. Launch of the broadcast for movies.
On 3rd April 1994, Encore was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed, the new logo under the name "telekanal Mediaset".
On 1st November 1997, Encore is renamed as Encore 1 along with Mediaset's channels.
On 11th June 2001, Encore 1 was added from all satellite and cable operators and time-sharing with Junior Television.
On 12th June 2001, Encore 1 was replaced by Encore 1 +24 the channel broadcasts movies in 24 hours was available in Mediatel and Kabelvizija.
On 25th July 2003, Encore 1 +24 was closed by reason: was stopped as Junior Television's time-sharing channel and was replaced by the main channel.
On 20th September 2005, Encore 1 is renamed as Mediaset Encore Prime along with Mediaset's channels.
On 23rd March 2008, Mediaset Encore Prime stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.
On 27th November 2010, Mediaset Encore Prime is renamed as Mediaset Spotlight 1 as part of Mediaset's movie rebranding effort.
On 21st March 2014, Mediaset Spotlight 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed along with Mediaset's channels.
On 1st May 2016, Mediaset Spotlight 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of Mediaset's rebranding effort.
On 24th December 2019, Mediaset Spotlight 1 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
