Mediasport 1

Mediasport 1 is Dekanian television network owned by Mediaset. The channel broadcasts sports events related to football, basketball, tennis, motorsports, hockey and athletics.

History[]

Mediasport 1 was launched on 15th July 1991 as Arena. Launch of the broadcast for sports events.

On 3rd April 1994, Arena is renamed as Mediasport along with Encore.

On 1st November 1997, Mediasport is renamed as Mediasport 1 along with Mediaset's channels.

On 13th April 2003, Mediasport 1 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.

On 23rd March 2006, Mediasport 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed along with Mediaset's channels and switched to 16:9 image format.

On 12th November 2007, Mediasport 1 stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.

On 27h November 2010, Mediasport 1 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.

On 21st March 2014, Mediasport 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed along with Mediaset's channels.

On 1st May 2016, Mediasport 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of Mediaset's rebranding effort.

On 13th February 2019, Mediasport 1 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
