Muz 1 is Hoprovratian television network owned by Starmedia. The channel broadcasts music videos related to pop, dance, rock and electronic.
History[]
Muz 1 was launched on 1st February 1992 as Music One. Launch of the broadcast for music videos. its Hoprovratia's first music channel.
On 23rd June 1997, Music One was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 19th March 1999, Music One and Music Plus were acquired by PrimaSat.
On 28th December 2001, Music One was renamed as Muz 1.
On 13th September 2004, Muz 1 broadcasted its adult animated series such as South Park.
On 1st September 2007, Muz 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 10th November 2008, Muz 1 and Muz 2 were acquired by the new company Starmedia.
On 1st February 2012, Muz 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed plus switched to full 16:9 image format.
On 1st November 2014, Muz 1 was launched in high-definition version.
On 7th November 2019, Muz 1 was closed as standard-definition version but still airing in high-definition version.
On 1st September 2021, Muz 1 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
