Muz 2 is Hoprovratian television network owned by Starmedia. The channel broadcasts music videos by Hoprovratian and foreign artists and from 70's to 2010's.
History[]
Muz 2 was launched on 13th September 1997 as Music Plus. Launch of the broadcast for music videos related to rock, electronic and hip-hop.
On 19th March 1999, Music One and Music Plus were acquired by PrimaSat.
On 28th December 2001, Music Plus was renamed as Muz 2 with the new broadcast format for music videos from 80's and 90's.
On 17th November 2005, Muz 2 was introduced with SMS-chat.
On 1st September 2007, Muz 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 10th November 2008, Muz 1 and Muz 2 were acquired by the new company Starmedia.
On 1st February 2012, Muz 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed plus switched to full 16:9 image format.
On 1st November 2014, Muz 2 was launched on high-definition version.
On 1st May 2015, Muz 2 was broadcast format for Hoprovratian music videos along with classic hits from 80's to 2000's on Friday and weekend evenings.
On 15th June 2016, Muz 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 7th November 2019, Muz 2 was closed as standard-definition version but still airing high-definition version.
On 24th April 2020, Muz 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
