NRT 2

NRT 2 (Russian: HPT 2) is Dekanian television network owned by Natsionalne Radiodifudenie i Televidenie. The channel broadcasts documentaries, arts and culture (such as music, documentary on visual arts, design, sculpture, architecture, theatre, history of the arts, symphony orchestra concerts, ballet, dance and opera) programmings.

History[]

NRT 2 was launched on 25th December 1991 as NRT Kultura (Russian: HPT Культура) following the Northeast Dekania's dissolution and the launch of the broadcast for arts and culture.

On 23rd April 1995, NRT Kultura was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of Natsionalne Radiodifudenie i Televidenie's rebranding effort.

On 29th October 2000, NRT Kultura was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of Natsionalne Radiodifudenie i Televidenie's television rebranding effort.

On 11th June 2004, NRT Kultura is renamed NRT 2 (Russian: HPT 2) was privatized by Nacionalna Dekanska Radiodifuzija.

On 1st July 2008, NRT 2 switched to 16:9 image format during movies and documentaries.

On 17th November 2013, NRT 2 stopped the 4:3 image format and then became a full 16:9 image format and was launched in high-definition version.

On 11th June 2016, NRT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed as part of Nacionalna Dekanska Radiodifuzija's rebranding effort.

On 1st March 2020, NRT 2 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.

On 1st February 2022, NRT 2 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
