NRT 2 (Bulgarian: HPT 2) is Nulgerian television network owned by Nŭlgerska Radioteleviziya. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, documentaries and movies programmings.
History[]
NRT 2 was launched on 5th March 1974 as Vtora Programa. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, educational and sports.
On 5th September 1978, Vtora Programa was renamed as NTV 2.
On 18th August 1981, NTV 2 was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 1st September 1984, NTV 2 was broadcasted the Turkish-language news program.
On 8th September 1988, NTV 2 was rebranded with the new logo was changed.
On 7th January 1990, NTV 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 25th November 1995, NTV 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 30th April 1999, NTV 2's satellite channel NTV Sat was launched.
On 30th March 2003, NTV 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
On 1st March 2006, NTV 2 was rebranded with the new idents were changed.
On 25th July 2009, NTV 2's minority programmings were moved to NTV 3.
On 28th September 2012, NTV 2 was renamed as NRT 2 also switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st August 2017, NRT 2 was launched in high-definition version.
On 5th October 2020, NRT 2 was rebranded with the new logo and idents were changed.
