NTV Mir (Russian: НТВ Мир) is Russian television network owned by Gazprom Media. The channel broadcasts NTV's programmings for Russians living outside Russia.
History[]
NTV Mir was launched on 17th December 2001. Launch of the broadcast for NTV's programmings.
On 5th November 2002, NTV Mir was launched for Australia and New Zeeland.
On 4th March 2003, NTV Mir was launched for Ukraine.
On 1st September 2003, NTV Mir's website was launched.
On 30th August 2010, NTV Mir was rebranded and the new logo was changed.
On 30th October 2011, NTV Mir was now 24 hours for first time.
On 17th April 2013, NTV Mir was rebranded and the new logo was changed and switched to 16:9 image format.
On 25th July 2014, NTV Mir was closed for Ukraine because according to the decision of the National Council of Ukraine on television and radio broadcasting.
