Neptun TV is Romanian-Ludussian private television network, owned by Soti Cable Neptun SRL. The channel broadcasts news, series, movies, entertainment and talk-shows.
History[]
Neptun TV was launched on December 6, 1991, under the name SOTI TV as programming block of TVR 2.
On November 30, 1994, SOTI TV was closed for 6 months.
On June 29, 1995, Neptun TV was relaunched as local television network of Constanța.
On July 3, 1995, Neptun TV was extended with Ludussia territory.
On September 30, 2007, Neptun TV was extended for Romania territory: Constanța to the all Romania territories, but Ludussia territory still.
On November 2008, Neptun TV was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed. The colors blue, red and green were introduced as drips, with the letters N, T and V.
On 2012, Neptun TV was switched to 16:9 image format.
On October 24th, 2016, Neptun TV was rebranded and the new idents were introduced.
Soti Cable Neptun SRL went bankrupt on February 17, 2020. This might happened that Neptun TV would close its transmissions, after the sentence was delivered.
